Department of Islamic studies of Islamic law faculty is an academic institution that began work in 2013 in the framework of Ghazni University, as a result of the efforts of the scholars of this era and leadership of University.

At present, the number of professors in the Department of Islamic studies is Six. They all have M.A. Since inception, with efforts of instructors and faculty this department has graduated four rounds students.
