Dean of Literature Faculty Biography

Rahimullah Ramish, son of Aminullah was born on 26-5-1987 in Ghazni, Espandi village. He accomplished his primary and secondary studies in Bu Nasr-e-Mushkan and Mohammad Ibrahim Shaheed high schools. He went to Shamsul Arifin High school to study grades ten, eleven and twelve, and on 2006, he completed his higher school studies and became a high school graduate.

After his graduation from Shamsul Arifin High School in 2006, on the same year he took the matriculation exam and was admitted into the faculty of languages and literature of Kabul University. After passing an exclusive test of English language, he was accepted to Study English Language and Literature. From 2007 to 2010, he studied in this field, and since he was a hardworking student, he got the chance to teach English in the faculties of Social Science, General Science, Political Science and Geo-science at the Kabul University.  He graduated from English Department with satisfying grades at the end of 2010.

After his graduation from English Department of Literature Faculty, he attended a free competitive exam in 2011 to be appointed as an English lecturer at Education Faculty of Ghazni University. Fortunately, he did well in the exam and was employed as English teacher at Ghazni University, teaching English in different departments of Education Faculty. He put his best efforts and with support of the related staff, he could satisfy the Ministry of Higher Education to establish English Department within the framework of Education Faculty in 2012. In 2014, Literature Faculty emerged out of the faculty Education, and became an independent faculty. Rahimullah Ramish was appointed as the head of English Department of Literature Faculty in 2014 teaching different subjects and doing the related administrative tasks.

In 2015, the leading board of Ghazni University introduced him to TESOL (teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages) program of Kabul Education University to do his master’s degree. He studied in this program for two years. Besides his commitments as a student in TESOL, he taught literature and composition to students of English Department at Kabul Education University. On his return back to Ghazni University, he again was selected as the head of English Department of Literature Faculty. At the end of 2017, Ghazni University made him to become the acting dean of Literature Faculty, and finally at the beginning of 2018, he was officially appointed as the dean of Literature Faculty.
